There is no escaping the fact that not all that reaches us by way of impressions is able to be brought before one in a lucid manner. Perceptions are always moving past us, slipping by and immediately they are sunken into the subconscious rendering reality a fraction of its totality. We are looking for either what we desire to feed the egoism that still lingers or out of our habitual thinking patterns – never are we able to allow the permeation of the more subtle currents streaming forth by unembodied spirits to color our reality. There are moments i am sure that all of us have felt – perhaps we shrug it off as an entirely subjective phenomena – when one has an inkling that there is something higher present – a presence that has been given the title of the ‘hive mind’, ‘the collective’, or a ’group soul’ appears in the moment to moment. This event found an older expression which we can read in the bible – ‘when two or more are gathered then the great I AM will descend and live amongst them, taking over the finer elements of consciousness.’
Are we able to garner more from what is found in the scriptures or in the philosophical and artistic content of recent times than only engaging with it as a form of entertainment which allows one to superficially resonate with something higher. Instead are we able to truly let the images we take to heart include the thought that realizes that just beneath the threshold of our intimate conscious perceiving there are higher spirits who love to rush into a space that has been saturated by the especial forces that only the pinnacle of creation can sprout forth by a mutual edification or simply engendering a loving spirit amongst one another? An often dormant power lies within the individual which in the ages before our current era – prior to the incarnation of the Christ – was present only to a few to bring forth its manifestation in earthly life. This invoking could then encourage an entire nation or clan to bring forth its own contributions to cosmic evolution. The ancient Hebrew called this spirit the Spirit of Elijah which shares a likeness to the idea that a Christian holds for the Holy Spirit – the indwelling of which is made possible through establishing Jesus Christ as a king or lord of one’s life.
Do we have a thirteenth that walks amongst the twelve – likely not in an actual quantity – but is one able to find moments when something has managed to raise a group of any number to enter into a more ethereal dance with the other rather than the typical isolated participation – only acknowledging trivialities? When two or more are gathered of our circle of peers does something seize each, helping them to leave the prisons of anxiety ridden, unproductive social interaction and enter into a layer of spirit that impregnates that environment with a number of manifestations that could be expressed by higher forms of perceiving ( i.e.- the finishing of thoughts or ideas, sharing identical or similar intuitions, one or more persons speaking with an intelligence never held before, or even statements could be uttered in which no instant revelation emerges but then in contemplation there stands a riveting metaphor or allegory in back of seeming pedantic events – where one senses the spirit leaving its essence in words and extended gestures of love between souls. This so called spirit of the room or atmosphere is not to be confused with an emotional upheaval brought about by theatrics but a true raising of inner awareness that can then be carried further spatially, not solely in thought projection or by the prayers of a righteous man that moves at the speed of thought.
There is more to the necessity of the kiss of Judas Iscariot than what we normally attribute to its purpose in the betrayal when we notice that it occurs in the three synoptic gospels but not the highest, the most spiritual of the canonical set – that of John. In other words if spirituality had levels in which it could be divided into a physical layering or framework then John would sit at the top above the others as a higher spiritual content. There is no sign that would be given a material historical import, its major occurrences takes place in a different consciousness than one that is probing the material enumeration of outward events. Instead it’s intent reveals a nature that wants to experience itself in what unravels in spirit. John has a view of the perfect life of Christ that he was only able to achieve, a condition of consciousness that the beloved apostle could utilize that no other was able, at least at the point in time in which he did. John could witness the Christ Spirit working through his brothers taking on their form in various ways. And as the ministry continued, STRANGER THINGS happened again and again, at least it would be seem to be very peculiar to one that lacks imagination – a great delusion to the materialist. Something that still positions the gospels in an unrecognizable form to even its most enthusiastic supporters. The strangeness fades as we realize that Christ had supernatural abilities indeed, but that they can be looked upon and understood in intelligent, almost scientific ways, not just in a magical or abstract sense. A graspable spiritual evolution can be brought into consciousness which is occurring within each of us as we speak.
The Christ could slip through without his accusers laying hold of him because they could never tell at times who in the group he actually was when they gathered in their world turning endeavors. He could speak and act through Matthew at one point then perhaps John at another. Just think of it, a group of disciples is ministering in some distant quarter – the man Jesus is nowhere to be seen in a physical sense, then quite randomly he is seen in the spirit. Imagine Peter is there taking care of some task with Thomas when all of a sudden John after a moment of meditation then experiences, actually witnesses the spirit of Christ which is now recapitulated, living in the other. This disembodiment of the spirit – a sudden displacement of one’s soul – a transmigration of an ego in a single life- was of a more general occurrence. This we will leave alone for now. It is only in the gospel of John where the power of Christ’s Exusiai forces – the impulses that act as a cosmic authority – a law from a much higher world is seen at work in the scene in the Garden. What seems like miracles or mythical fancy are the spiritual’s natural playground. John’s words ask his readers to engage in a more fervent pursuit of knowledge and to rise above cherished interpretations. This hierarchy of spiritual beings – the Exusiai who weave above the beings of the 7 th, 8th, and 9th hierarchies communicates not only to the disembodied but has the will, the power to directly move physical objects, the strength of the etherised ego – the higher I am can move mountains quite literally and in this case displace crowds, knocking them to the ground. It is only when the gospels are ravished with eyes of spirit that these hidden treasures of reality bleed forth.
Troubles arise from leaning on the understanding and the mental images provided by today’s pastors with their arts of sermonizing and in the many film portrayals of these ancient figures imbuing them today’s social characteristics and ways of seeing themselves. Please stop bringing the apostles’ situations into current cultural contexts – into the very ways in which a minority speaks- this is not always helpful. First understand that they were chosen in a very different manner than one usually thinks of. These men and women would walk their own way, leading humanity into a new consciousness. These twelve were in a very true sense instilling the foundations of the new world just as the cosmos is imbued with twelve zodiacal spirits all transcending their own limits that hold existence together for us. These twelve microcosms – examples of spiritual being – had to experience a separation from what most never bring to their own cognition – a replacement of old paradigms.
So when the back of the apostles would face others, veiling their individuality, something higher would appear to those awaiting the glory to that which is to come when the true form of his return is understood by a larger portion of humanity. This band of brothers would never leave the space they entered the same as they found it . One would know that the spirit of transformation – the substance that the ancients observed descending ever more closely to the earth was to be found in the soul of each man as evolution continued and would be the only way in which to impregnate the earth with new spiritual impulses. When it dawns upon the reader of the Gospels that they hide an immense esoteric life then the words of the evangelists will begin to actually produce nourishing powers. An energy that heals the subtle bodies that are the organs that make anxiety and fear possible, will manifest. It can no more serve the hearers of these sacred words than to only use them by preaching morality. It would serve humanity much more to have able teachers discern when the author so subtly transitions from a physical event into a spiritual one. To be able to read the scriptures with the mind that the ancient seer possessed which could better navigate the thinning curtain that separates the seen and unseen. For example, when Jeusus preaches his beatitudes to the multitude and we read the phrases like… “then in the audience of all the people he said unto his disciples’,… or when the text reads that.. ‘they come or came to him’ .. the outer visualization is hard to piece together – but when its spiritual reality shines forth then we see another side – the impulses of soul and spirit of the events in the gospels. For when someone overcomes a sentient desire by use of reason- this higher faculty of thinking, then one has climbed a mountain and achieved a certain spiritual summit – yes a smaller mountain of course than the one that was ascended by Christ and the original apostles but it is still significant. When we notice our teacher, the master, our savior and friend turn to face his twelve and only to them make known a certain mystery leaving the masses with mere children’s parables – he was giving them the prophecy, not of imputed blindness but revealing the blessedness of long ages of human evolution whereby the eyes of spirit are meticulously woven and pieced together. Christ is giving his own the keys to unlocking the higher meanings of the universe fit for the ego that they had each prepared, a new constitution of soul or a different way of engaging with the content of the world was possible for them. An image of divine holiness would be brought to newness by the individual – a change in thinking – a repentance was to start from each one’s holiest of holies in the hopes that they could in in some far off time enjoy being creators of more stranger things then the universe has witnessed up till now, as we shed the physicality, the substance in which we have purchased our freedom with and trudge onto the utilization of a higher trinity than mere body, soul, and spirit we wear today; but birth a new tripartite existence – a new world will descend where the higher man can live, move, and have his being in a mode of existence where he will judge angels.
